The Monster Hunter Experience!

The Great Deviljho Feasts!

In this episode Kazaken takes on a Deviljho with a bow. I really love that thunder set. It had been a while since I had fought Jho, so I was a little rusty. I haven’t practiced a lot on him. When I was fighting him a lot I was able to beat him without any damage. That is always nice. But that was a while ago. But, either way, it went pretty good. My form wasn’t the best, so that explains the longer time than normal. Oh well. Enjoy!

Crouching Nargacuga, Hidden Bulldrome!

In today’s video, Kazaken fights the Nargacuga in his favorite way: With dual swords! I love ds, and they are great against the Narga. All his moves can be really easy to dodge through as long as you don’t push too hard when attacking. Just do the right amount of attacking, and then prepare to dodge attacks! I am using Barioth armor, and thunderknox ds. So, enjoy, and send me requests whenever you can!

Red Name Agnaktor

Today Kazaken takes on an Agnaktor in a viewer request! I hope you all like it. I used the Jhen sword and shield. All level appropriate gear. Spread the word about the video, and the Monster Hunter Experience! I actually recorded this 3 times. The first 2 tries screwed up, and I was incredibly angry. And I am sorry about the lack of content here on the blog lately. I’m gonna get back into blogging every day hopefully. The internet connection at my Grandmas isn’t the best ever. So sometimes it is hard to connect. Anyways, make sure to watch the second part!

Ride the Whale!

Monster: Jhen Mohran.

So I actually haven’t played in a while. I have fought Jhen lately. So I am starting guild quests now. But I have been playing a lot of Dissidia, and checking out some other games that I used to play as a kid and stuff.

Anyways, I love fighting this guy because of how epic it is. He has gotten a bit easier. I seemed to bust his legs so quickly, and his horns were a breeze. I took my ice gunlance. I am actually thinking of making a podcast against him using duel swords. Just a little proof of concept sort of thing. But either way, the big guy was fun.

His strikes hurt, and my body was tired after the long fight. It took me 20 minutes to fight him. He definitely isn’t as glitchy as he used to be. But he was fun in Tri as well.

The sight of him jumping over the boat in game is still a marvelous sight.

Other than that, I tried a little Mythbusting, Monster Hunter style. I took a bow with sleep coating enchanced (The uragaan bow, which is an awesome bow! It looks so cool!) and tested how many melee strikes it took to put a Doboruberuku to sleep. I noticed that he seemed easy to put under. It took about 4 minutes of slicing. I lost track of how many cuts it was, but oh well. I tried and a Great Jaggi, except it died before I put it under! I want to try cutting a tail this way next. Maybe put it on video…

Till next time, happy hunting! Tip of the Day: Riding the Whale is easier than you think! Just hop on! But don’t over stay your welcome. He gets kind of upset…

Got Bullets? In this video podcast Kazaken takes on the big Tree Hammer Doborman, or at least that is what I am calling him. I hope you guys enjoy! Make sure to check out the youtube channel and all the other videos! Give me requests for the next videos too! Also, spread the word if you like them! Would love to share my videos with more people! So, till next time, happy hunting!

The Tree Hammer!

Monster: Doboruberuku

Ever taken on a beast that was so large and interesting, that your jaw dropped? I have. Today. The Doboruberuku is a magnificent beast. So large, covered in green moss and wood. His large horns topped his head, and a giant club ended his tail.

Anyway, he was fun to fight. Every time you would think you were safe, he would remind you that his tail was a large hammer. He is very good at crushing hunters. I brought my narga bow to the fight with him. It ended up taking a while, but it was still fun. One move of his has him spinning around rapidly. The kicker is the finishing move to the spin. He flings himself high into the air from the force of his tail spinning. But the worst one is when he flings himself without warning, not even using the large spinning move before. It caught me off guard multiple times. I shot piecing arrows after piercing arrow into his large body till he fell. I broke his horns, tail, and top humps.

Overall, I felt I did a good job. Afterwards, I started experimenting with gunlances. I really enjoy the weapon, even more than in MHFU. They are a lot of fun, but took some getting used to again. I’ve started grinding Agnaktor in order to get his armor for the gunlances and make his gunlance. As well as his duel swords. So I have a lot ahead of me. Wish me luck! I plan on recording a podcast sometime tonight. I think I will fight our hammer friend Doboruberuku with a gunlance. That should be fun! Till next time, happy hunting. Tip of the day: When using gunlances, always shoot bullets like you don’t have to worry about ammo. Since you don’t! Jackpot!

P.S.: I’ve started playing dissidia 12 and I am iffy about it. It is fun, but I am having trouble getting used to how it plays and what not.

In this video cast, Kazaken takes on his favorite beast, the Jinouga! Thunder Strikes with Wolf Cries! Enjoy the new video! I enjoyed taping it and such. I am using the narga armor, and the bhanabra bow with ice element. So, enjoy Ninja Baths! The video is broken into two parts, so watch the first, then watch the second. And check out my youtube channel as well!

Do you have an english patch installed on your version of Portable 3rd?

I sure do. It is a must have if you don’t want to be incredibly frustrated trying to get armor sets working and stuff.

The first video of many! Glad to report that everything went pretty well with remote joy lite. I am very happy with it, and we will see what happens from here! This was kind of a test, and the audio wasn’t planned out or anything, just talked as I watched. From now on, though, I’ll have a sheet with some stuff on it that I planned on talking about. Anyways, enjoy, favorite, and subscribe on youtube! Happy Hunting!

Good News!

So today I have played some portable 3rd. But I have wonderful news that I wanna share my good news!

I got remotejoy lite to work. Turns out the problem with it being slow and not working was because of the usb cord I was using! Once I tried a different cord (which sadly is very short) it worked perfectly and I was able to record a video! Yay me! So, all I have to do is edit the video, record some audio to match up with it, and then put it to youtube! I just started a new youtube channel to go with the videos. The channel is http://www.youtube.com/user/MHExperience?feature=mhee. So go check it out everyone! I am going to upload videos there, then link them into here. The video I will upload probably by tomorrow is more or less just a test. I plan to usually record audio as I am fighting the monster, but today the video was kind of just a test.

So the audio will be from watching the video. A little different, and it is going to change things a bit, but oh well! Anyways, I am hoping that Zach will be getting a psp and we can play together. Then do video casts with both of us. That would be great. So, the possibilities are endless right now! I am very excited about all of it!

So, check out the youtube channel, subscribe to it so you have it at the ready, and prepare for wonderful things to happen! Till next time, happy hunting! Tip of the day: Try everything, even changing cords! Sometimes to defeat the monster, you gotta try everything!
